This is an instrumental companion to Absurd To Wake. I felt like the music deserved it's own edition. I have put some instrumentals out before, but my idea of a song was always tied to a singer. When words are front and center to music, it can pull a lot of attention away from the work that goes into constructing a piece of music. I am really proud of this record sonically. I like to write lyrics, but this time around I have never felt as raw or as lost trying to express myself in words. I know raw, and I know lost. In some ways I am healthier than I've ever been, but the words for this record came out so heavy and broken. A lot of hard things have happened in my life in the last few years. The music is a juxtaposition to the heaviness, and I tried to craft it in a way that was strong enough to hold it up. To hold me up. So I hope those of you who hate my shitty voice enjoy this. xD
